Every individual we work with is absolutely unique, and so the disability supports we design need to be, too. We tailor our service to meet your needs, whether you want us to walk alongside you for the whole journey, or just pop in and help out with a particular task.
While every case is different, working with us usually follows a simple 4-step process.

Step 1
Ask us for help
Send us an email, give us a call or message us through this website. Tell us a little bit about what you are thinking about and we will make contact. There is no obligation to sign up to our services by sending us an enquiry and no fee for this initial discussion; we welcome anyone who would like to know more about what we do to get in touch.
Step 2
Getting to know each other
In order for us to design a solution that fits your unique situation, we need to first understand what you are looking for. If after our initial discussion you feel we could be a good fit, we will set up a time for a more detailed consultation. This might be on the phone, video call or — if you are in Auckland — this could be in person. There is a one-off fee for this consultation.
Step 3
Identifying your priorities
During this conversation, we will help you to outline some clear priorities that will become the foundation of our planning. This could be anything from goals you would like to achieve, values you live by, or situational factors and timelines.
Step 4
Creating a plan to help you realise your goals
We will then write up a plan of how we can help. This will be an outline of our conversation and a customised roadmap of how Flying Kites can support you to achieve your desired outcomes. For some people, this is all the help they need and they move forward independently to execute the plan themselves. For others, ongoing support is factored in and we happily walk alongside them as we work through their plan together.

As a part of our early discussions, we will talk to you about your budget and timelines and create a plan that works within this scope. Whilst we do have some set charges, the cost of each project will be dependent on the requirements of the individuals we work with.
If you don’t have access to pay for our services, let us know. We might be able to help you access some other funding to cover these costs.
